Cleo Holder

Wealth Manager

While growing up, my family always quoted the proverb, “Let the wise listen and add to their learning.” As a child, it didn’t make much sense, but when my father passed away just days after my 21st birthday, I finally understood its meaning. Everything he built suddenly depended on my mother’s leadership. The financial world, as I’m sure you know, can be overwhelming, but because she listened and remained patient, she helped protect my family and provided for our future.

That has served as my model for financial guidance ever since. I’m fortunate to have over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry. Listening remains vital to my work, and as a family steward, open communication defines my client relationships. The more we talk, the better we perform. As a father of three grown children, I am constantly reminded of the joys in my life. They are worth protecting. I bring the same enthusiasm to all of my clients’ needs, whether we’re transferring wealth from generation to generation or building a lasting legacy.

For Fun

I love being at the office. When I’m not, you can find me vacationing in Gulf Shores, Alabama with my family, spending time with my grandchildren and cheering on the Cardinals, Colts, and Boilermakers. For extraterrestrial thrills, I enjoy learning to fly single engine airplanes.

Financial Advisor

I really enjoy walking alongside my clients and serving as their “sounding board” or “second opinion.” Letting them know I’ll be there to assist them through all of their financial decisions has a healthy influence on their lives for both today and tomorrow.

As a result of my volunteer activities, I was approached over 35 years ago by a major brokerage firm and asked to join their company. Having come from a middle income family with little exposure to investments (outside of bank savings), I was enticed by the opportunity both educationally and financially. I wanted to help others gain knowledge while growing financially so they could experience a difference in their family’s lives.

My faith in God brought me to this profession through the connections made in my early life. He continues to reaffirm, sustain and encourage me to stay in this profession despite ever-changing markets and uncertainty. I know He will continue to guide and strengthen me in all ways going forward from here.

Outside of the office, I serve as a Class Administrator for my Bible Study Fellowship. With two grown children, my husband and I started ballroom dancing about 5 years ago. I also enjoy crafting, sewing, baking, gardening and reading.

We are active members of Newburgh Presbyterian Church and I currently serve as the Chairman of the Memorial Investment Committee.
